In addition, Jim has served as chief operations officer (COO) of The Foursquare Church; assistant general supervisor of the Foursquare National Church and as vice president of regional operations; as advisor to Foursquare Church Multiplication; and as regional supervisor of the Southern California/Southwest region. He was a member of the Foursquare board of directors and has served on numerous Foursquare committees.
Jim is a 1975 graduate of California State University at Fresno (B.S. in criminology, minor sociology), a 1981 graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. (M.A. in theology), and a 2008 graduate of Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, Wash. (D.Min. in church multiplication and leadership development).
Jim’s doctoral dissertation is titled Aimee Semple McPherson and Spanish-Speaking Ministry in Los Angeles: Lessons for the 21st-Century Foursquare Church. The Foursquare Church, through Foursquare Media, has published an adaptation of the dissertation as a book in Spanish titled Aimee—La Gente Hispana Estaba en Su Corazón.

REV. JERRY DIRMANN
Pastor Jerry is a teacher of teachers and a leader of leaders. As pastor of The Rock he has seen it quickly become one of the fastest-growing churches in Orange County, California. Raised in a Christian home, Jerry received Christ as a child, but it wasn't until he turned his life over to the full direction of the Holy Spirit, after graduating high school, that it become obvious that there was a call and anointing on his life to see multitudes changed by the power of the Word of God. Through his ability to lead leaders and teach the truth of God's Word with clarity and conviction, Jerry's pastoral leadership is noted as a blessing to those who have had the privilege to minister alongside him, under him, or receive ministry from him.
His full-time ministry experience includes youth pastoring for nine and a half years at Valley Community Church in El Monte, CA, and directing the National Foursquare Youth offices for six years; wherein he traveled and spoke extensively across North America. During this time he also founded "U-turn", a contemporary youth ministry strategy used by Foursquare churches across North America. He is also the author of "Operation: Solid Lives", an intense discipleship class which has already changed hundreds of lives.
Jerry has been married to his wife Kimberly, his best friend, since 1987. They have two children, Alexa and Jonathan. The passion of his family and his own life, living everyday following the plan of God.
